To celebrate the tenth year of BMW’s famous “biker gathering”, along with 30 years of the GS, BMW Motorrad is hosting an exceptional array of events in Garmisch this year.

Crowds are expected to exceed 40,000 and entertainment will range from breathtaking displays by European Stunt Riding Champion, Chris Pfeiffer, a special BMW Classic exhibition on how the concept of the large-scale enduro was set into motion, training courses on GS models, a competition to win a brand new BMW motorcycle, plus a draw for an F 800 GS on the Friday and an R 1200 GS on Saturday. Another major highlight will be the presence of the BMW Motorrad Motorsport Team - Troy Corser and Ruben Xaus will be available to sign autographs and for photo opportunities.

World of BMW has joined forces with this exciting event and is combining the four day party with a further excursion to the scenic Tyrolean region of Landeck in Austria. Once in Tyrol, the group will stay in a typical chalet, but with a motorcycling twist. The chalet is home to a large motorcycle workshop and fleet, featuring the latest BMW models which are all available to test ride at a small fee.

Over the course of the next three days in Landeck there will be a host of activities on offer, including an outdoor Biker Breakfast, high in the hills where everyone will tuck into a sumptuous hot and cold picnic breakfast, guided rideouts, the chance to arrange test rides on the new models of your choice; and each evening the group will return to the hotel for dinner together.

On day nine, the tour returns to France via a scenic route through Switzerland and the Black Forest. It then heads over the Vosges Mountains once more, riding the splendid Col du Bonhomme, before continuing back to the outskirts of Nancy. Here the group will enjoy the last night of the Tour. The following day, it will be back in the saddle for the final sprint across France and back to Calais, where the tour will catch the late afternoon Eurotunnel to Folkestone.
